Angudi & Co is a British-Libyan importing business, bringing one of the Mediterranean's best-kept secrets to the United Kingdom. We are a family business with deep roots on both sides of the equation — born in Britain, connected to Libya.
Our mission is simple: to source the finest extra virgin olive oil from Libyan groves — some of the oldest in the world — and introduce it to a UK market that has yet to discover what we have always known.
We are a registered UK company, bringing together family expertise across food importing, distribution, and business development in both the UK and Libya.
The Story
Libya's olive-growing tradition stretches back over three millennia. The Phoenicians, Romans, and Berbers all cultivated these groves — a living history in every harvest.
The Libyan climate — hot summers, cool nights, fertile coastal plains — produces olive oil with a distinctive character: low acidity, complex flavour, and exceptional polyphenol content.
Despite this heritage, Libyan olive oil is virtually absent from UK shelves. That absence is the opportunity. We intend to change the conversation — and the shelf.

We are actively seeking relationships with Libyan producers who share our commitment to quality, integrity, and craft. We are not looking for volume — we are looking for the best.
As a UK-registered importer with family connections in Libya, we offer producers a direct, trusted route to a premium market that currently has almost no Libyan presence.
